We are so grateful to all of the fabulous illustrators who have contributed to our 2020 #ReadforEmpathy Gallery.
Pictures play a vital role in conveying emotions and feelings. The use of certain colours, a detail of a facial expression, or the use of white space all help the reader understand their own and other people's perspectives.
To coincide with the launch of our
Family Activities Pack
on 18 May,
we kicked things off with a
fabulous illustration by Helen Bates.
Helen very kindly allowed us to use her illustration as the pack front cover.
All the other images appeared from 26 May until 8June, the day before Empathy Day.
Each illustrator has generously allowed EmpathyLab to use the pictures to spread the Read for Empathy message. The images remain the illustrators’ copyright. Please do not use them without permission.
