Developing an empathy focus across the publishing industry
EmpathyLab is delighted to announce
Empathy Builders
– a major new partnership with
over 40 children’s publishers, all committed to driving forward a powerful new book-based empathy movement. Our joint aim is to reach over
one million children a year by 2026.
Building on the work started in 2019 by an original group of nine early adopter publishers, this phenomenal additional support will amplify Empathy Day as a major nationwide annual event and a force for change.
The Empathy Builders will be exploring how to implement the pledges in an important new Empathy Manifesto, drawn up by the early adopter publishers.
Empathy Manifesto Pledges
We are delighted that so many publishers have recognised the power of empathy and joined this ground-breaking new alliance.
A very warm welcome to all our champions of empathy!
