Empathy Day 2020

Empathy Day 2020

Empathy Day 2020 took place on 9 June. Our author-led day focused on three main themes – Read, Connect, Act – with children, parents, teachers and librarians taking part across the country.

Our Family Activities pack is still available here. The activities cover Empathy Day's three themes, but can be done in any order, with just some scrap paper and a pen or pencil.

    THANK YOU!

…to all our amazing authors and illustrators. Like all of us, they were stuck at home with very limited technical facilities but rose to the challenge magnificently and have all been incredibly generous with their time, energy and creativity.

    What fabulous empathy ambassadors!
