Rydym yn falch iawn o gael lansio ein Casgliad Darllen er mwyn Empathi Cymru cyntaf erioed!
We are delighted to be launching our first ever Read for Empathy Guide Wales!
Mae llawer o waith yr EmpathyLab dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf wedi bod yng Nghymru, lle mae’r cwricwlwm newydd yn cyfeirio at empathi 35 o weithiau.
I adlewyrchu hyn, rydym wedi gweithio mewn partneriaeth â Chyngor Llyfrau Cymru a phanel o feirniaid annibynnol i roi casgliad wedi’i guradu o deitlau Cymraeg a Saesneg at ei gilydd i ffurfio’r Casgliad Darllen er mwyn Empathi Cymru. Bydd y casgliad hwn o lyfrau i adeiladu empathi ar gyfer pobl ifanc rhwng 4 ac 16 oed yn cael ei ddefnyddio gan ysgolion a llyfrgelloedd i helpu i ysbrydoli ac adeiladu sgiliau empathi trwy gydol y flwyddyn.
Much of the work of EmpathyLab over recent years has been in Wales, where the new curriculum refers to empathy 35 times.
To reflect this, we have worked in partnership with the Books Council of Wales and an independent panel of judges to put together a curated collection of English and Welsh titles to form the Reading Collection for Empathy for Wales. This collection of books to build empathy for 4 to 16 year olds can be used by schools and libraries to help inspire and build empathy skills throughout the year.
