We were thrilled that Joseph Coelho, Waterstones Children's Laureate, launched Empathy Day 2023 with a brand new assembly AND an exclusive poem especially for the day!

Use the poem, titled Empathy, in classrooms, at home, or to inspire writing your own poem celebrating empathy. View the assembly below and HERE from 9am on 8 June.   

The poem will remain available on our website until April 2024.
