The Early Years Webinar

The Early Years Webinar

Our annual online event for Early Years practitioners

The foundations of empathy can be laid in the earliest years. Our free annual webinar is a resource for anybody living and working with young children. It looks at how empathy grows in the early years and the role that adults and stories can play in its development.

The 2022 Early Years Webinar

This year's webinar featured Sue Palmer, literacy specialist, writer and presenter and Chair of Upstart Scotland; June O'Sullivan MBE, CEO of the London Early Years Foundation and author and illustrator Nadia Shireen whose picture book Barbara Throws A Wobbler is in the 2022 #ReadforEmpathy Collection. It was chaired by EmpathyLab co-founder and Programme Manager for Libraries Connected, Sarah Mears.
